There are no actors at this performance, the task of the dancers is to be themselves. The best time is now and there. Because this is the first performance about us. It is like a story about the inner theater’s life, about the things that can not be put into the roles.

Our stories emerges from the inter-being, commonness and contrast. Sometimes it is necessary to sustain the balance in the expeditiously turning world, to support/to lean on each other. The most important thing is not how you move but what makes you moving, what stirs and affects you.

“I kept a different story when I was coming there. But very soon I have understand that it does not fit there. People are the main inspiration for me. So AURA dancers have changed everything,” – Anna Maria Krysiak says.

The performance is illustrated by the production “Ocalona” of Katarzyna Sokolowska. The author appointed this painting for the contemporary dance performance of her colleague and friend Anna Maria Krysiak.

Anna Maria Krysiak is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator. She graduated from the State Ballet School of Poznan (1990), was a dancer in Opera and Ballet Theater of Poznan (1990-1992), was a member of Jacek Łumiński’s Silesian Dance Theater in Bytom (Poland) (1992-2005).

While working in Silesian Dance Theater she has danced with Melissa Monteros, Anna Sokolov (Dreams), Condrat Drzewiecki and Avi Kaiser (Batsheva Dance Company, Israel), Paul Clayden (DV8, UK), David Dorfman (NY), Mark Haim, Stephan Brinkman (Pina Bausch theatre) etc.
At the moment she is mostly working as a dance educator, has lectured in Canada, USA, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, India, Slovakia, Lithuania, Israel, Great Britain, Holland and many various places in Poland.
