About performance<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t[vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_column_text animation=”animation bottom-to-top”]\u201cThe\u00a0Wounded Deer\u201d is the performance inspired by the artist Frida Kahlo\u2019s painting with the same title. Frida was an activist and a devoted lover, seeking for relief and depth, facing circumstances and situations barely bearable nor sustainable. Through physical pain she was restricted, dependent, self-destructive as well as strong, creative, passionate, and eager to survive. Together with her volatile yet equally influential husband Diego Rivera, they made the most out of their lives they were given. How can we, as performers and human beings, relate to their essence, withdraw inspiration and feed our contemporary selves through movement?<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”]\t

About choreographers<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t[vc_column_text animation=”animation bottom-to-top”]Clara Giambino (France) and Blake Seidel (USA) are professional contemporary dancers and choreographers. They met in 2016 in Israel during the International Dance Journey Program in Kibbutz\u00a0<\/span>Ga\u2019aton\u00a0and immediately connected artistically. Very quickly they started to create choreography together as a duet. Their love for strong physicality, original body possibilities as well as subtlety of details led them to produce powerful dance works that transmit pure emotions to the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

After finishing their training in Israel, both Blake and Clara joined Aura Dance Theatre in 2017 as company members. They pursued their choreographic work and had the chance to tour in Lithuania, Mexico, China and Bulgaria with their own piece.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”align-center”][vc_column thb_color=”thb-light-column” offset=”vc_col-lg-8 vc_col-md-9″][vc_row_inner el_class=”align-justify”][vc_column_inner thb_color=”thb-light-column” width=”1\/2″ offset=”vc_col-lg-5″][vc_column_text]\n
