About this performance

The author and director of the idea, Ieva Jackevičiūtė, is creating a dance performance-exhibition for the little ones, inspired by the interactive installation “Birds”. This time, the focus is on the meeting of art and dance, where the little spectators become participants in the exhibition that comes to life. Here you can hear and see land and water birds, climb into the nest, catch fish in the pond, and see your own image in it. The music of the performance was recorded live by a Japanese composer in the woods with the sounds of birds chirping. The dancers, like the spirits of nature, will go on a journey with the children, where everyone will experience the cyclical life of birds from dawn to dusk, from spring to winter.

The production of the play is financed by the Lithuanian Council of Culture.
