Marianna was born in Palermo, Italy and she started to dance at the age of 12. Here she started to study ballet and contemporary dance.
At 15 years old she moved to Rome to start a professional training dance program called DAF Dance Arts Faculty, under the direction of Mauro Astolfi: here she had the possibility to discover and experiment many different contemporary styles and techniques, perfecting her ballet knowledge as well.
She graduated after five years and she took part in a transition dance company called FLYOUT directed by Giulia Mancini: here for one year she worked with different choreographers like Daniele Bianco, Mounir Saeed, Travis Clausen Knight, Alexander Stravopoulos, Adriano Bolognino, Manacan and many more, bringing on stage all their creations, and in the end she obtained a placement to come to Aura as an apprentice.
After one year of apprenticeships with the company, Marianna joined the team starting officially her professional dance career in 2025.
