Beginning in 2011 Julija started taking Contemporary Dance classes at the Vytis Jankauskas Dance Theatre, in 2013 attended Ballet and Modern Dance Programm in Frankfurt, Germany. 2015 she started contemporary dance BA studies at the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy.
In June 2016 Julija auditioned for a position at Kaunas Dance Theatre „Aura“. In August same year she started working here intensively and got her contract as a part-time dancer in November. Julija decided to quit her studies in 2017 and started working in „Aura“ full-time developing her career as a contemporary dancer.
